*Basant Panchami* , a significant festival marks the beginning of spring and the arrival of Goddess Saraswati. The day began with a special morning assembly to worship Goddess Sarswati.
The Sarswati Pujan ceremony was performed by the Principal and Headmistress.
*Sharda vandana*.was performed by the class 8th girls
Speeches on the significance of Basant Pachami were delivered by Grade 6 stds.
Traditional sweet *Halwa*was distributed amongst the students. The assembly culminated with the national anthem.
