Special assembly in the occasion of Baishaki

There were vibes of devotion and dancing in DBN Vidya Mandir Mubarak Mandi on 12th April 2019. A special morning assembly to mark Durga Pooja and Baishaki was conducted at school with fervour and gaiety. The occasion was graced by the Tagore House. A soulful bhajan 'Bore Bai din Chad gaya Meri Ambey 'was sung by Anita of class 6th.It set the devoted mood for the occasion.The presentation includes a variety of performances and speeches. The speech described Durga as goddess of Shakti.
Divya of class 10th shared her views that Baishaki festival marks the onset of new session for farmers. It is celebrated through out the country especially in Punjab and Haryana.
A lively Dogra dance choreographed by dance teacher was presented by students of class 8th. On the beats of music on the Dogri song ' Indua te Jag Bindua' . It was a treat to see the children performing dressed in traditional vibrant Punjabi attire.
