SERVICE: "Om mein hi astha, Om mein hi vishwas aap sab ko khush rakhe Bhagwan Bholenath".
Sawan is the month of love blessings and happiness. It is believed to be the time when Lord Shiva consumed the Halahal (poison) that came out of the ocean during the Samudra Manthan and saved the world. Sawan Somwars are of great significance for the Shiva devotees. To seek the blessings of Lord Shiva, the students of class VIII were taken to nearby Shiva temple on the first Somwar of sawan month where they cleaned the temple and prayed for themselves, society and country.
SKILL: Yoga is not just physical exercise. It's emotional integration, spiritual elevation, with the touch of a mystic element which give us a glimpse of something which is beyond all imagination .Students of class 6th practised the different asanas like Bhujangasana, Navasana for their physical as well as spiritual growth.
SPORTS: An Inter-school football competition of district, Jammu was organised by the department of Youth services and sports on 26th July,19 as part of the annual calendar of activities at G.G.M.Science college, Jammu. Boys of D.B.N.M.M. also participated in U -17. Kshitij Jamwal of class 9th, Paras of class 10th and Harshit of class 10th qualifed. They will further compete for the State Level. We wish them all the best.
STUDY: "No Smoking" and " Girl Child Education" were the two topics given to the students of class VII on which they had to make poster and speak a few lines on it. They expressed their ideas with elegant drawings and quotes and delivered their speech with confidence.
