A special morning assembly was conducted today by Vivekanand House on the eve of Janamashtmi to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The program began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp. There was an atmosphere and realm of Gokul. Girls of kindergarten attired themselves as Gopis and boys were in the costume of Lord Krishna holding flute and playing it.The school was bedecked with buntings and frills colorfully. The glimpses from Krishna's life were shown through tableaus. Speeches were delivered by students and teachers.
Devotional songs were sung by the school choir. A group dance was performed by the students depicting rasleela of Lord Krishna was much appreciated.
Manager Sh. Rajendra Kakkar ji addressed the students on the auspicious occasion. The programme came to an end with the recital of National Anthem.
