SERVICE: Children become aware about the festivals and their significance when they celebrate them. It makes them deeply rooted to their culture. To share the excitement and spread the essence of Maha Shivratri, a special assembly was conducted today in school premises. The assembly commenced with the morning prayer by the students of class 3rd. Then, the programme was started by Reetika and Mansi of grade VII, who highlighted the powers and role of Lord Shiva in the natural world. Further, a sacred hymn of Shiva was chanted by the few girls of class IV. This was followed by an impressive dance performance by the students of class V that left the environment completely soothing and blissful. Finally, the programme concluded with the address by our Principal mam. She applauded the staff and students for their efforts being made to make everyone spiritually energised and enlightened.
SKILL: Wallets play a very significant part in our lives. They accompany us wherever we go. Wallets are used by both men and women. Keeping this in mind, the students of class 6th made beautiful paper wallets with fluorescent and handmade sheets. They decorated them with stickers and beads. They really exhibited their talent in the activity and enjoyed it.
SPORTS: Running a race is the co-ordination of legs, eyes and speed. Players are supposed to abide by the rules and regulations of the game. Students from class 2nd participated in “Flat Race Competition”. Children were divided in various groups. They were full of energy. They ran the race. By the end of the game Samiksha Verma, Pranjal Sharma and Aryan Verma bagged Ist, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. This activity helps in developing their kinaesthetic and interpersonal skills.
STUDY: To inculcate competition spirit and to faster their thinking, Quiz competition was organized for class 4th, 5th ans 6th regarding English grammar and general knowledge. Students were divided into 4 teams, team A, B, C and D in which team C won the quiz competition. Gifts were given to the winning team by the Principal Mam to encourage them for future
